In 1994, I received my BS in Accounting and Finance at George Mason University and worked in Corporate Accounting for over 20 years. During that time, I worked for a Cooperative in Northern VA where I was responsible for providing consolidated financial statements needed to make critical business decisions. At the same time, I had a few personal clients that I was doing the books for just to make extra money. That side of things grew so fast that I decided it was time to start a business for myself! In the fall of 2013, I quit my job and opened Yield.

It became clear that there were hardly any reputable bookkeeping companies in this area. There were people doing it on the side in the evening or there were CPA’s that were charging a TON of money.

Once word got out that this business was up and running the calls just kept coming in and I realized I had found quite a niche in the DC area.

We have grown exponentially over the past 9 years and currently have 18 employees and over 200 clients! We have won Best Bookkeeper in Loudoun County 5 years in a row now for a reason…we are affordable, accurate and reliable.
